PHILIPPE OSTIGUY

Musical and Artistic Director

Artistic and musical director of Les Petits Chanteurs de Laval, Les Voix Boréales and Le Chœur des Jeunes de Laval, Philippe Ostiguy has worked with the organization for more than 20 years. A classical pianist by training, he developed his love of choral singing at a very young age as a member of a boys' choir for eight years. Today a specialist in youth choirs, he is recognized for his great knowledge of the choral world, his professional rigour, his quest for excellence and above all, for his creativity, his dynamism and his passion for communicating his love of music.

Alongside his activities with Les Petits Chanteurs de Laval, Les Voix Boréales and Le Choeur des Jeunes de Laval, he teaches piano at the Maîtrise des Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal.

ISABELLE VADEBONCOEUR

Assistant Choir Director

Teacher, pianist and clarinetist, Isabelle Vadeboncoeur is a graduate of the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal (piano interpretation). She has worked with Les Petits Chanteurs de Laval and Les Voix Boréales as a rehearsal teacher and pianist since 2002 and has served as assistant musical director since 2017. Les Petits Chanteurs de Laval offer introductory choral singing workshops in several schools in Laval since 2016 and at our rehearsal premises since 2019 with our Concertino groups (children from kindergarten to 4th grade). Isabelle assumes the musical and artistic direction, bringing together, with the help of a dynamic team of teachers, hundreds of children during concerts at the end of the session. Professor at the CAMMAC Music Center since the summer of 2000 as Director of Children's and Teenagers' Choirs, Isabelle also teaches piano and African music there (having taken numerous courses in West Africa). Isabelle has been a rehearsal pianist for several choirs in Montreal for more than 20 years.
