Isabelle Vadeboncoeur is a pianist, choral conductor, and music educator. A graduate of the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal in piano performance, she has been working with Les Petits Chanteurs de Laval and Les Voix Boréales since 2002, first as a rehearsal pianist and teacher, and later as a choral conductor. Since 2017, she has served as Assistant Music Director, contributing to repertoire selection and preparation, the creation and adaptation of arrangements, and the preparation of numerous concerts and productions. Within the organization, Isabelle also serves as the Musical and Artistic Director of the Concertino groups and the Ateliers offered in several schools in Laval. With the support of a dynamic team of teachers, she guides young singers through their first experiences in choral singing.

 

A faculty member at the CAMMAC Music Centre since 1997, Isabelle leads its children’s and youth program and also teaches piano. She has also developed expertise in African music through extensive training in West Africa.

 

Passionate about music education, Isabelle enjoys guiding young singers from their first choral experiences to the stage, where the strength of the group creates unforgettable performances. Her work is characterized by creativity, energy, and a desire to make choral singing both challenging, unifying, and deeply human.
